I had a dream that i contacted my ex and she came and visited my house with her family. When she arrived we started hanging out but then she told me her dad wants her to move to the south of france - which is really far away. Then she was leaving my house and suddenly it was nightfall and my house had turned into a destroyed mess which was overgrown by plants. I searched in the house and found a crucifix. It was taller than it was wide and had a golden symbol of Jesus on it. I picked up the crucifix and took it with me then everything was pitch black and I couldn’t see and I was suddenly in a deep overgrown forest with thistles and thorns everywhere. I tried to fight my way out using the only weapon I had - the crucifix. I eventually made my way out and saw a candle light of someones house.
Dreams often reflect our subconscious thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Here's a possible interpretation of your dream:
Contact with the Ex: Reconnecting with an ex in your dream might indicate lingering feelings or unresolved issues related to that relationship. It could also symbolize a desire for closure or nostalgia for the past.
Family Dynamics: Your ex’s family wanting her to move far away could reflect your concerns about external influences in relationships. It might signify feelings of helplessness in situations that you cannot control, or fear of losing connections due to external factors.
The Messy House: The image of your house transforming into a destroyed mess suggests feelings of chaos or instability in your life. It could represent your mental state, personal issues, or past experiences that feel overwhelming.
The Crucifix: The crucifix may symbolize faith, protection, or a spiritual quest. Finding it in a chaotic environment might suggest you are searching for guidance or strength amidst turmoil. It could also represent your values and beliefs that you hold onto, even when things get tough.
The Overgrown Forest: This part of the dream reflects the challenges and obstacles you face. Thistles and thorns can symbolize difficulties or pain, perhaps highlighting personal struggles that you have to combat to find your path.
Candle Light of Someone's House: Finally, the light in the darkness may represent hope or a sense of safety. It signifies that even after turmoil and struggle, there is a guiding light leading you toward comfort or a sense of community.
Overall, this dream seems to encapsulate a journey through emotional turbulence and the quest for clarity or redemption. It could be urging you to confront unresolved feelings or seek out the support and guidance needed to overcome personal challenges. Consider what aspects of your life resonate with these themes and how you can find your "light" in difficult times.
